Do you know of a checklist for the 95 Leaf promo set? I've never seen one so don't know who's in there. Are there promos for the entire set??

Here's the list:

1 Jeff Bagwell
2 Wade Boggs
3 Joe Carter
4 Greg Maddux
5 Raul Mondesi
6 Kirby Puckett
7 Cal Ripken, Jr.
8 Frank Thomas
9 Matt Williams

They aren't "rare" per se but they are very difficult to find since they are nearly identical to the base cards.

This may have been discussed before but does anyone know anything about the 1991 Pacific promos?

How do you tell the difference?

A few weeks ago, someone approached me with a set of the 1986 Card Collectors Company Jose Canseco cards. These sets are fairly plentiful and feature Jose as a 10 card full bleed set. The fronts are matte and the backs say that you can send in some money to get an 8x10 signed version of the card.

I told him I would pass but did a bit of a double take. As it turns out, the set he had was on kodak photo stock - glossy as can be and cropped differently from the production set, as well as the 8x10s. The set actually comes from a massive collection of promos from someone from Sports Collectors Digest. I don't have any other details, but this is the first set of this kind that I have run into, and given the fact that it was from an SCD promo collection, this may be among the first/only (or very few at least) of its kind. For how I collect, this is awesome stuff :)

Nice collection you have there. Awhile back I listed a 1992 High 5 prototype of Canseco with a RED 5 in the upper left corner instead of the normal Gray 5. Was wondering if you were the one who won my auction on eBay.

You are welcome. You looking for any particular promo?

Bagwell is the only player in that set I PC. I know at some point we got promos for '95 Leaf in the shop but given how close they are in appearance to the regular cards I'm not sure if I kept any of them. I wouldn't mind putting together a full set to go with my '95 Leaf sets but Bagwell would be the main one I'd be interested in.
