Edison Volquez will undergo surgery on his right elbow, reports Mark Sheldon of MLB.com
The item was included in the team's pre-game notes, but there is no word yet on if the procedure, scheduled for Monday, is Tommy John surgery. Volquez complained of pain in his troublesome right elbow after throwing 20 pitches of an 80-pitch simulated game on Friday. We'll have more when we get it.
