This thread will be updated as I have time. With the exception of the T205s and 1952 Topps, all of these sets are complete.
When I got back into collecting 15-odd years ago, my initial goal was to complete my Dodger team sets from 1966 (birth year) on up. I discovered OBC (oldbaseball.com) in 1996, was accepted for membership (we had maybe 60 members at the time - now we're at around 150 or so), and pretty soon Dodgers from other years started trickling in. My goal soon changed to maybe finishing the 60s, but I knew obtaining cards like the Ken McMullen RC (with some guy named Rose on it, too) was probably going to be out of reach. One thing I knew is that collecting Dodgers from the 50s was NOT going to happen - I mean come on, Jackie? Campy? Koufax RC? No way, not going to happen - those kinds of cards are out of reach. Little did I know. All these years later, I've gotten close to a goal that I never imagined. I've still got some work to do, but after the four remaining sets are done, I'll have to set my sights on something else. I'll figure that out when I get there.
Several months ago when I finished scanning my Brett Butler collection I thought it would be nice to scan my vintage Dodger collection, not only to show it off but also to have a digital copy of it to use for whatever. My goal is to eventually have every set scanned through 2010, but that's going to take quite some time.
My apologies if the group scans cause anyone to have to scroll to the right to see everything. I've got one of those wide monitors that allows me to fit much more than what is shown here. At any rate, like anyone else I love to hear comments on my collection.
