Did you guys see this on over on the 90's thread? This guy was one of those "what the hell is this thing, I've never seen it cards". Supposedly one of the harder cards to find. Ended up getting it for 10.50!

That's pretty cool......is it die-cut?

Big Mac...

I doubt you need these... I really do, but maybe one of your brethren might.

Going through stuff for someone and found these two:
Probably junk to you hard core Big Mac Collectors.

sure is! You're supposed to get 8 of them. They fit together and make a cube. Hence sportsCUBZ. I thought it was slang for cubs not cubes!

Some of the latest additions:

Added 10+ of the foil blank back proofs from Topps/Bowman (here's one example)

w_1997--topps--ilmu--fbbp.jpg

With this addition I'm down to 2 missing variations of this hodgepodge variation subset:

w_1998--leaf--gls--fractal.jpg

Found one of the missing "error" mystery finest cards (marked R but has no refraction)

w_1998--topps_finest--mf--piazza--nor.jpg

With these I'm down to only needing 9 more of the 90 card variation set!

w_1998--tek--86.jpg
w_1998--tek--88.jpg

Located a gray back vs teal back variation for the Prime Nine's

w_1998--ud--pn--22-gb.jpg
w_1998--ud--pn--22.jpg

And finally two Ovation cards that have evaded me for years

w_2002--ud--six_spokesmen.jpg

With this one, I only need 2 more of the /25 to have all 5 so then I have the base, silver and gold variations!

Was updating my photobucket, figured why not post em here too:

With these additions, I officially only need 7 more game used cards to have every one (non-auto'd)

This finished off the 7 card dual and triple game used UD SPx Winning Materials subset

This finished off the #'d/25 dual game used jersey set
2002--ud_uc--mc--griffey.jpg

And finally landed the Colla McGwire auto!

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joe where did you get the Colla at!!!! and how much? Great card!!!!! Now your in the Colla Auto Fraternity with me , Jay, and Karl lol !!!

You'll die when I tell you what I got it for....

It was on a BIN for $175 and I was able to use one of my 20% live.com discounts on it. So I got it for $140. I kept putting $225 bids on these for the last two years when they'd come up. They would always go $230-$450 (yes one went to $450 in the last two years)

That was one of my top steals for McGwires. Off the top of my head, I'd have to honestly say it was the best McGwire ebay purchase behind these (all of which were not BIN but 7 day auctions nobody saw):
Fleer EX Game Wall buyback #'d/2 for $35
Fleer EX Game Base buyback #'d/16 for $18
Topps Tek gold #'d/10 for $20
Topps HR Refractor for $28
pacific printing plate for $35

This is one of my favorite McGwire cards. I was lucky enough to pick up this particular card (25/200) from my favorite local sports collectibles dealer approximately fourteen months. The dealer knows that I was always looking for unique McGwire cards and he just happened to purchase this particular card from a local sports card dealer who was retiring after 25 years in the business.

I already had one of these cards in my collection, but could not pass up having the "jersey number"/200.

Thank you,

Cards Fan
