I hope this works! I am always looking for those "impossible to find" 1980's McGwire cards. Here are a few I have that I did not see on onionring9's page. Hope you enjoy!

Just checking in to say hello, fellas. I know I've been a ghost for a while now. Summer is a super busy time of year at work and the family and I have been either on vacation or camping every weekend since Memorial Day. Needless to say, I haven't added anything to the Mac collection in at least 4 months (or any card for that matter!). I still enjoy coming in here to see what you're all up to. Keep up the awesome Mac collections. Big Mac.......great autos! LOVE the Black Diamond. That is probably my #1 most wanted McGwire card.....

Glad to see some newer Mac collectors here as well. Hope all is well with all of you!

Yes it is. Nike issued it, along with others, as counter card samples to illustrate its line of sports posters. It is a 5" x 7" piece printed on heavy semi-gloss paper and features the reproduction of the poster on front. Backs are blank except for thr poster stock number and title. All poster cards issued in 1987 should have a 290 prefix to the number. McGwire is 290876. There is also a mirror image of Will Cark posing on the other side of the bridge. They combine to make a complete picture, like the posters. I think I have this card somewhere as well. Nike issued similar poster cards in 1983 -1987 and in 1991, according to the 2000 Standard Catalog of Baseballcards. Thanks for looking!

I remember seeing the poster before. I like the card. Very nice.

MAC Collectors !!! I NEED YOUR HELP. I am trying to find a card of mac, i know it was a insert, i think it might have been made by fleer, not sure though, the front of the card looked like a HALL OF FAME PLAQUE. The theme of the set was the hall of fame. I can not figure out the year. I know it was from either 98,99,00 or 01. Please help me identify this card.

I really like the 88 score promo. I have been trying to hunt down one of those cards for myself. I will keep a lookout for some of the cards you have listed. I do have doubles on the 1989 Cadaco discs if you want to try and work out a trade on them. Currently I do not have any doubles of any of rest.

I love these cards - I bought so many packs when this stuff first came out. I pulled a Clemens gold sig and one or two others but no one big. I did pull a Griffey and a Thomas silver sig in the same pack, I was stoked about that but never picked up a Griffey gold sig until 2007. Great card.
