Any info on how they were issued, if they are authentic, value, anything is appreciated. Also, are there any other autos from before the 2002 UD? Thanks for any help.

Can any of the experts here help with info on these autographs?

The 1992 Colla had a limited run of 200 autographed cards (which I still need). I have all of the 1988 Star variations and haven't seen anything listed anywhere saying that those were offered with autographs. They did have individually numbered sets. It's possible that the auto in the pic represents the production number of the set it was pulled from (357/1000)? Not too sure on the Mother's cards. I don't ever recall a send-in program with them, but I doubt those autos came from random packs in bags of cookies lol.

Thank you for the information on the autographs. The Finest Refractor cards are awesome.

Mothers ones were most likely signed in person.

Colla was released with a print run /200
Star was released with a total print run /500 but there were two inks. 400 were green ink, 100 were blue ink

(ignore the 759 auto in the link below, that was in in person one)

@onionring9 Good info on the '88 Star! I guess I'm two cards short, and it seems like they may be a tough find after 29 years...

They surprisingly pop up fairly regularly. I honestly haven't been looking at ink color though so not sure how often blue pops up vs green.

Good to know. I'm definitely going to keep my eyes open for these. Any idea of the value on them?

I think I bought the green auto sealed set for under $25, maybe even under $20.

Thank you for the great information! I love the way that site appears to be set up. I'm excited about a new toy to play on and view all the awesomeness.

Hmm I wouldn't expect that as the norm, because that's a ridiculous sale. I'd expect 70 -125 for the green auto. Blue is a crapshoot, just hope nobody notices the ink when its up.
