Where did you find these Ryan? Do these types of cards show up on eBay because I would think that these could be shady listings if you're not dealing directly with someone on the forum. Either way keep updating us on what you having coming in!

I'm not quite sure what your referring to with "shady listings", nor do all sales go through members on this site. However with that said, they are from the Sales Director (Andrew Lehman) of SGW/Chromium products who helped create/pitch the products. Right from his storage to a friend of mine (owner of Sigauctions.com) to me. AL no longer wanted his inventory/collection and sold it to my friend Bobby who is a local buyer in AZ. The source is about as good as you can get.

Forgot the backside of the card. Obviously it's old mentioning the 1993 set, but just showing the linkage.

More interesting info and great cards! I'm wondering if there may be even more chipper cards that I can't live without...
Do you know if there were other samples made with different players?

I'll have a few other things to post over the next few days, but here are a few other cool items. The first two are Samples from the never released 1999 Topps Crystal set (later moved to Topps HD). The third item, though lacking star power is even sweeter. It's one of the original Chrome mock ups used in creating the look and feel of the cards. Topps Chrome itself didn't actually come out til' 1996, but similar type items were created in non-sport items and similar technology was used in Finest/Bowmans Best etc. But the mockup was done in 1992 from what I know using a 1991 Topps look. Yes Jack Daugherty isn't amazing but the card is IMO. Card measures about 1/4 smaller around that a regular card.

Alright, here are a few more. So the one with Ripken and Stocker are actually one card. Not two cards mounted together but a dual sided (same thickness as a regular card). I seem to have a handful of these. Besides the Ripken other forum collectors may be interested in are one with Burks, Lofton and Orel. These may become available but unique duals. Then the second one is a Sample that I don't think I have seen before, has anyone? The Bagwell shows the front and back. I believe there are 110 subjects created. Some may become available, but I do plan on keeping some. The third item I'll post now is one that I don't plan on moving. So the 1993 Finest Jumbo set was a 33 card set, cards 84-116. Well they made a special unreleased one as a test to celebrate Piazza winning ROY. From what we were told, possibly only one copy was produced. I think it's a pretty cool item. Some of this stuff has been fun to go through. I'll have a few other things to post either tonight or this weekend. There is some neat stuff from other sports that I may sprinkle in this thread unless people care enough that I don't contaminate.

2 ) here are some 1996 Chrome items, some may be tough to pick up on pics, but they were trying different background effects etc

I've posted (I think) most of the cool baseball items. I'm sure there will be a few others I'll come across. This post has a few of my favorite things I came across. First the Jeter / Arod wasn't the pairing they went with and on the others with Tina and Grace, take a look at the names, teams and styles. Kinda cool IMO.

Ok, we'll I found some more things I think some of you may like.

The first one, who knows what they were doing. Obviously it's a hockey card, but the 70 Home Runs is for McGwire. It's not a sticker or an add on, it's actually built into the card. Weird but neat. The next 6 are cool. So they were working with what Refractor effects to use for the 1997 set. They tested Nemo, Jeter and Mac using different versions than what they went with. Sweet IMO.

I like the fact that the finish exists on the back of the Nomo too. Cool stuff.

Be interested in the Bagwell stuff if it becomes available.

Look what came in today! George Kalfus many thanks for the hookup here man!!

It's hard to believe that he messaged me the same day one was listed on eBay!

Awesome card! The Power Alley die cut is one of my very favorite designs. I was searching for one when this popped up on eBay, the only Belle PSA 10:

ImageUploadedByFreedom Card Board1469918441.304632.jpg

I had to have it. It was a BIN/BO, and I'm sure I ended up way overpaying For it. About a week later a raw one came up and I ended up getting it for about 10% of what I paid for the PSA 10. Oh well, I love those cards...
