You're probably right about these not being pack issued. No way could someone get this many 1/1's from the same set and have all these superstars.

However, I have my Mariano in hand and I'm comparing it to a 2001 Fleer Showcase Mariano 1/1 and the stamping looks good to me. I checked the card under a 30x magnifier and I can't see anything that would make me think it's counterfeit. Mariano also wasn't considered a superstar until after the Fleer bankruptcy.

I am no expert on these kinds of things but if I had to guess I would say these were made and stamped by Fleer as replacements. It doesn't look like anyone else paid big money for any of the ones that sold. Except for me. :( But it's the 1st 1990's 1/1 that I've ever seen for sale and I was not going to let it go.

It's a risk you may have had to take. I hope the pack issued one shows up for you at some point.

Seller has a nice shash of RJ, Ripken & Griffey for sure. Will be a fun Sunday night bidding war. Although some questionable opening bids on some item, how eBay allows someone to have 81 bid retractions is unconscionable.

I almost posted this list last month. It's the toughest commonly recognized (except for the proto) non 1/1 Rusty Greers I need. Thanks to carrsallstars for sending me a PM yesterday alerting me. Lo and behold it was for one of these cards! The 1999 Red Label /25. I had a chance back in the day and was too cheap. I thought it wouldn't be long before I had another chance. It was 18 years.

1999 Topps Gold Label Red Label Class 3 /25
1997 Score Premier Club
1998 Donruss Collections Preferred Prized Collections /55
1998 Donruss Crusades Green CTA Prototype
2000 UD Choice Super Script /25
2001 Absolute Memorabilia Spectrum /10
2002 Fleer Triple Crown RBI /29
2003 Donruss Season Stat Line /17

Wow seems like some really went cheap, especially some low number patch and jersey cards.

I have been watching his auctions for the past couple of weeks. Amazing cards, the issue though is a lot of the cards got relisted and ended again yesterday. Looking at feedback it appears shipping was the main reason people didn't go through with the purchases. Seller not being fair with pricing. So I ended up staying away.

Yes, $8 or $25 for over $100 then a quarter for each additional. Makes it hard to bid unless you're going for multiple items - i ended up with 7 cards so ~$4/card. I think if he had the high dollar cards end first people would have been more apt to tack on the relic cards, but it was the other way around, which made it a tad risky bidding on a $10 card early on. Had it not been for the 90s cards i would have passed on everything else due to those shipping fees.

I asked this in another thread, but I'm looking for some pictures. I am hoping with all of the collectors here someone has some info.
Does anyone have a 1997 Circa Rave CL card? There are like 7 of them. For some reason I cannot find an example of the back to see

I don't think they exist. Looked for the Ripken for years back when they came out and never saw one.
