Got a few in yesterday. Don't they look so much better without the peel? The three silvers are embossed refractors (1:192), and the rest are gold refractors (1:288).

Very nice! I love the old finest inserts/refractors. Modern refractors just don't have that same pop to them.

I could never bring myself to peel off the fronts. It's like the tag on my mattress that I can't remove it under penalty of law. :lol:

:lol: :lol: I completely agree! Although if I ever got one of the old refractors from Ebay I always secretly hoped they would have already been pulled because yes, they look WAY better without the coating on top. Those are some very nice cards you got there!!

I'm putting at least a partial set together. Leaving the base, bronze refractors, and silver refractors alone for the most part. Working on the field generals set right now.
