Who knows how things would have played out but Jeter would have been a great add to those late 90's Astros teams that went nowhere in the playoffs.

The Reds opted to draft Chad Matolla over Jeter as they had a SS. They had Jeter in the scouting reports and had him originally picked. They changed their minds on draft day.

Who knows if Jeter's carreer wouldve been the same is some other team had drafted him?

Frank Thomas was originally rejected by the Astros too. Imagine that team.

If Thomas was to be playing at 1st, I don't want to imagine that team. Because Bagwell would have not been here. Unless...they turned him into a third baseman....

I'm sure one of them would have been made an outfielder. That team would have been unbelievable.
