Good morning all. Gonna go play catch sometime this afternoon with a buddy. We start softball on Tuesday, and neither of us are prepared. I didn't play last year, and the year before that I was having some arm issues. I'm hoping that nothing happens this year

Afternoon all!

5 in a row for the Phillies, plus a Series at Colorado next? And Franco with his first career Triple, just inches away from a HR...

Had a nice day out hanging with a few old ball players! I thought it was just gunna be Art Shamsky, turns out there were 6 exMajor Leaguers and a local guy who was in the minors.

There was Al Santorini, Doug Clemens, Ed Kovac (local minors guy), Reid Gorecki (cup o'coffee with the Braves), Jay Baller, Shawn Barton and Art Shamsky!
I only prepared for Shamsky, but I never go to a baseball event without my encyclopedia, and since I already had Clemens and Barton, I added

Quick question for Topps Bunt players from a newbie Bunt'er. Are older "sold out" cards more desirable because you can't get them anymore, or less desirable because they can't be used to play the game anymore?

I've had a few trade offers in which the other guy asks for a 2015 Gold in exchange for a package of 2014 cards including a couple of base, a couple of red, and a couple of green.

Sent from my Android using the Freedom Cardboard app.

I was kinda worried, cuz I heard Shamsky could be surly at times, and I really wanted to get my stuff signed and have a nice chat with him. Either I heard
wrong, or he was having a good day, obviously since I got all my stuff signed, but also had a real nice time talking to him, and he was wearing his '69 ring, which was awesome to see.
I wanted to get a pic of him and the baby, since that was the first time Logan got to meet a celebrity, nonetheless a '69 Met, but the darn kid was sleeping when it was time...so this was the best we got

Then Shamsky stayed with us and kept talking which was awesome, and as much as I hated him, I had to tell him to go back and sit down to sign for the kids as his line was backing up, haha!

Also got my photo with Al Santorini

Guy (bullrush) puts a trash offer in on a card I am selling. I considered just declining, but I countered with a fair price. I figured he'd make another trash offer and get declined, but then I checked his feedback... all from selling hot packs.

Think I may just block him so that this sketch doesn't end up in a hot pack.

Hey all. Just got back from seeing The Blues Brothers on the big screen. Saw it way back in 1980 at the theater and it was great going again. One of my fave comedies of all time.

I have the soundtrack on CD in my car. When it's playing, I make sure I have my sunglasses on while singing with it.:)
