2010 Topps Update Gold SPs

I got super lucky and picked up two of the SPs (Livan Hernandez and Rob Johnson) on Sportlots for next to nothing. Are these still regarded as near-impossible? There was discussion about these here a long time ago (maybe before I was an actual member), which was along the same lines as this from The Bench:

2010 Topps U&H Gold SPs?

Has anyone heard any new info or seen any recent sales on these?

Link has good information from the infamous 'sinocc'. I don't understand how someone can be so sane / helpful in one context and such a nutbar in another.

Yeah, they are still tough and still sell for a decent amount on ebay. Usually $30-50 on buy it now if you are willing to wait a little while to sell. Not sure I'd risk an auction since most people have probably forgotten about this set or are working on something a little newer.

by far the hardest of these sps to find is the john bowker i have only ever seen 3 listed and i got one on beckett.com in a trade for $1.50 book value a long, long time ago before anyone knew they were rare. the bowker is probably worth $100-$150 and i would be more than happy to trade 2 times that, for one!

Wow! It's sinocc!!

You're obviously an experienced collector of topps blacks and golds so please stay around...

but I think a lot of people here have had problems with you on ebay and other online sales outlets...

This would be a great opportunity to explain yourself and clear your name. Personally I would LOVE to hear your explanation.

Otherwise I don't think you'll be allowed to stay around here long.

I was going to give the guy a chance - for a second. Then I realized that him being here could in no way do any good for our community.
