Projecting the Yankees line up 5 years out filled with current prospects is just as impossible as predicting an earthquake.

Just for fun I went back and looked at their list five years back predicting their 2012 line up. It wasn't that bad considering no trades.

Although, Hughes, Joba, and Gardner are the only guys from the top 10 left.

TB's list is now up on the site. Live chat for subscribers at 3:30 EST.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm looking more forward to Toronto's chat on Wednesday.

That was the biggest shocker of all the lists to come out thus far, for me.

In addition, Norris was #4 on last year's Blue Jays list, and has fallen off this year.

Also kinda surprised Mark Montgomery didn't crank the Yanks' list. Even though he is a RP, he was excellent this year, and should make it to the Bronx next season.

He looked pretty good in the AFL Rising Stars Game.

his stats are nasty. 14 K/9 and 3 BB/9.

It's amazing how Syndegaard has no PLUS pitches yet is rated as their future #1 starter ahead of Sanchez who has TWO plus pitches...sigh...

I have a related question about that for the chat. My guess is, Syndergaard's polish made him the safer guy, while Sanchez is a bit more raw. Plus, Sanchez's command isn't as good as Syndergaard's.

Sanchez has been ahead of Syndergaard on most of the reports that I have seen. Sanchez has some killer stuff that gives him the edge. His command needs a bit of work but has a higher ceiling imo. Syndergaard has a FB in the high 90's and an above avg CB. He is still working on a changeup. If he can make that a plus pitch he moves ahead of Sanchez. A nice problem to have for the Jays.

I wonder how far Dillon Howard dropped? Wasn't he their #2 prospect going into the season?

Correct. He will be one of my questions in this afternoon's chat. Struggled quite a bit in the AZL.
