I read an article this morning on mlb pipeline.com and it said that Albies has played second base with AAA Gwinnet the past three weeks. The plan was not to rush Swanson to AAA, so the demotion will give Albies a chance to play with Swanson up the middle and at some point both will be called to Atlanta.
