I know this seller thru years of email correspondence and this collection is legit and wonderful. He has at least four cards I would give my eyeteeth for but his asking price is way out there. I hope he pieces it out. In his defense he is a long time Ozzie collector and if I had or needed to sell my collection I'd ask the world too.

I totally get it too. I counted up at least a half dozen pieces that I'd give him more than I'd be willing to admit. It would be interesting to see what everyone's current want lists look like.

New to this site, but picked up a lot of information reading different posts, so I thought I would join. I am an Ozzie Smith collector of cards through 1997. My number of different Ozzie cards is currently 971 different out of 1,168 that I currently have on my list that I know (or at least think) exist. These numbers do include several error cards, panels, and other oddballs. I'm always adding to this list, so these numbers are always going up. I'm sure there are a ton of cards that I have yet to see or add to the list and that's part of the reason I joined this site, so I could see what else is out there, that I don't know to exist. For instance, I didn't know there were 2 different 1982 Post-Dispatch cards, 3 1985 Newspaper cards, and had never heard mention of the Ace Prototype card I saw posted (NICE CARD!!!), or several promo cards that I've now read exist, but still havn't seen. Some of my favorite cards I have are the 1995 Pinnacle Pin card, 1997 Pinnacle Silver, and for some reason the 1990 Costacos Postcard. I also recently picked up a couple of Cardinals Team Issue cards that I will share, 1985, 1987/88, and 1995 and 2 of them, 1985 and 1995, were signed (I've never seen a picture of what I believe is a 1985 Team Issue, that didn't have a facimile signature at the bottom, so I'm not sure if these were made specifically to sign?) Thought I'd share these and say hi, and hope to see some great Ozzie cards and learn from being on this site.

1992 TV Sports Mailbag 8x10. Says Limited Edition of 5,000. I got this from a friend years ago. Anybody else have one and a backstory about it?

This is a post from a couple years ago, and I'm not familiar with this card. Is this from a set or only Ozzie? Is the name accurate or does it go by another name? I just have never seen this one before, is it pretty rare? Anybody else seen any others or know anything about this? Thanks

Clark for sure exists in that version.

So I picked up what I believe to be the last version of this unusual card. This set is known as the Shanghai Cultural set or sometimes referred to as the Chinese Chen set. I had the Boris Becker blue and what is referred to as the Shield card. This last version is the purple Becker back.

In reviewing some posts I saw this one and I have a 4th version of this card as well. Looks like there is purple and blue card for both the Becker and Shield version.
