(Canseco) What? A card which talks negative about the player?

It's one thing to say so and so has a disappointing season, but was definitely a little surprised with this card back

Anyone have another?

ok, i'm confused. It looks like a Topps card yet doesn't seem to have MLBPA or MLB Properties permissions, which is likely why awful things about Jose could be said.

Since MLBPA and MLBP get to proof cards, you won't see negative things said since those organizations want to stroke the ego of their client or employee.

It clearly says "Baseball Card Presents" on the copyright line. It was from one of Krause's once-a-year special issues that always came with cards bound into them.

It's always fun to read the backs of cards during the 700 players per set era. Clearly there aren't 700 good players in the league, so the positive spin on the .220 hitters or the 31 year old "rookie" challenges even the best card writer. ;)
