Howdy everyone. Just a couple of week until the NBA training camps open.

From the Packer game Sunday: New owner Larry Edens with Larry Sanders at one of the new minority owners home tailgating next to Lambeau Field.

Looks like the vet's made the rooks wear these.

Even Ersan made the trip. Apparently one of the new minority owners hosted a backyard tailgate party before the game.

Looks like the Eddie Lacy fan doesn't approve Jabari posing with the Jets fans.

I really like how the new owners Edens and Lasry are marketing the team around Wisconsin. So refreshing for a once proud franchise.

That's impressive, most people don't know our part of the state exists.

What's your trip for?

Wife's nephews birthday ... Yeah, my thoughts as well ... ugh. Any shops down that way, Taylor ?

Depends on what town you will specifically be in, and how far you are willing to drive.

EDIT: I might be able to point you in the direction of a few on your route as well, assuming they still exist.

So I tried doing this earlier this year, but it was very short notice, and this is somewhat short notice as well, but I just thought I'd throw it out there. I am going to be going a Colorado Rockies game this coming Saturday. The Rockies sell the locker tags of the visiting teams, and the prices are $50 and $100. $100 is for the stars, but I cannot guarantee who they consider a star and who isn't. I know that the entire Twins roster was $50 each, but Mauer was on the DL, otherwise he would have been $100. Is there anybody here that wants me to check for players? This will probably be very limited as I don't want to have a lot of my funds tied up in this personally. I am already on the lookout for a couple for some members here- Anthony Rendon for moxacaine and Denard Span for TGutta.

Here is a picture, albeit a very crappy iPhone 4 picture, of my Brian Dozier tag from this year

There is nothing out my way (short of driving clear to Sioux Falls), but if you are in the Willmar/St. Cloud area, there are a few there I can try to point you too.

Which one do you normally visit if you are in Sioux Falls?

I haven't been to Sioux Falls since I was a wee lad, in fact I don't even remember the place at all. My goal is to get out there this winter for a hockey game, but that's about it.

Brookings is much closer, but they don't have any shops as far as I can tell.

Gotcha. If you do happen to decide to go, they have 2 shops that I know of. Whenever I'm in town, I always go to Triple Play Sportscards as I really like the owner, and most of his prices aren't terrible. The other shop in town is Rainbow Sportscard and collectibles. There prices aren't terrible, but they also deal in a lot of the comic books, action figures, and gaming stuff. They have a decent sized store, but I'd say that probably 75% of it is geared towards the non sports stuff

I will have to check them out when I get a chance. I'm sure I'll be down there this year at some point, since they have a lot going on sports wise.

There is so much I'd love to do in Sioux Falls. Unfortunately, it's not close enough to enjoy whenever I want.

I've been reading that The Pentagon will be drawing in D1 teams this year, from all around the country. Not to mention they hosted an NBA game last season, and they now are the permanent (?) host of the NSIC tournament.

The Premier Center just opened, and has hosted some big concerts, but the puck won't drop for a while. Crazy to think that a USHL team in South Dakota can put together a better arena than some major junior teams.

Not to mention, Sioux Falls also has 2 very, very good college football teams, and an indy baseball team.

Just up the road is Brookings, and they are planning on putting in a brand new football stadium, and Frost Arena (or as I call it, "House of Wolters") is a beautiful building that houses a couple of very strong teams.

And of course, Aberdeen has the legendary NSU Wolves, molded by Don Meyer himself.

Anyway, haha... That's my piece on eastern South Dakota sports.

Basketball team is playing Nebraska this year

And here I was, disappointed that we didn't get State or Minnesota on the schedule...

I don't even like basketball and I'm excited!

We'll be in Willmar. Not sure exactly where, but somewhere there. I'll be taking 35 to 37, I think, right near Grand Casino in Hinkley.

Love watching an item get relisted at same starting bid several times in a row. Wait for 5 min left. I bid slightly over minimum and get outbid with 2 min left. Nope... sorry. Don't feel good about it
