Maine of course......
I had the good fortune to attend game 2 of the ALDS, games 1 and 6 of the ALCS, and game 2 of the WS (each game accompanied by either one of my sons (2 of 3 got to a game), my younger brother and a dear friend). Woulda/coulda/shoulda been at games 1 and 6 of the WS but bad luck and son's high school soccer play-off game intervened. Each trip to Fenway was memorable, even the 2 games that were losses. My drive to Boston is 3 1/4 hours each way so I logged a lot of miles and drank a lot of coffee to keep awake. I have been a lifelong Sox fan so the last 10 years have more than made up for the prior 37 of heartbreak (even though I was too young to remember '67)- unpleasant memories from '75, '78, '86 and '03 have been replaced with great celebratory moments that I have been able to share with my 3 sons.

I'll have some World Series memorabilia to share in the coming weeks- have purchased all 7 official WS MLB ticket stubs that I will frame up nicely to accompany my 2007 framed set.

Anyway, enough of my sentimentalism, props to @JBel4331 for the new banner.

Sweet!!! You heading to the parade today? I was invited to attend an early send off of the team at the stadium but no way I could pull that off.
Would have loved to, Scott. Had to work though. I listened to it on the radio and caught the last hour of it on TV. I loved how Gomes was singing with the Dropkick Murphys (Who killed it today from the little bit I heard them) and half the team started drinking pretty early in the morning haha. Looked like a great crowd today!

Looks like the Sox like to win their WS in bunches, huh? I would have thought the Dodgers won more than 5....

I watched send off from Fenway- loved the interviews and the players interacting with the fans. Parades not my thing- too crowded.

Sox do win in bunches, that's what 86 years of futility breeds......

Dodgers had 1 in Brooklyn so doing well in LA.

Looks awesome!

The Sox have the most WS titles in the last 10 years in all of baseball, and with a fairly young team atm.

Red Sox 2004, 2007, 2013
Cards 2006, 2011
Giants 2010, 2012
White Sox 2005
Phillies 2008
Yankees 2009

Who wins in 2014????

I say the Cardinals have a real strong chance of getting back to the WS. I love their young pitching. However, my 2014 prediction is Dodgers over the Tigers.
