It doesn't seem like you understand how much better Trout has been than Sizemore ever was. The difference between a 10 WAR player and a 6 WAR player is enormous.

The comparison isn't WAR.
The comparison is two young players who started out hot. One had their career derailed by injuries. The other one could suffer the same fate.
The comment was that Sizemore is like Trout. The numbers say he is not. Simple enough.
