Didn't turn out to be too bad. I was hoping it was the thermostat since I had an old Mercury thermostat. I replaced it yesterday afternoon and the unit still didn't kick on. Called a local AC repair shop and they came out yesterday evening and replaced a fuse in the unit and it turned right on. Made me feel kind of stupid and a little disappointed that I had to pay them to simply change a fuse but at least it was an easy fix and relatively cheap fix compared to what could have been. Just going to throw the living rug out and get a new one.

That's good , I wouldn't know where to look to fix an AC so don't feel bad. When I bought my house in 2010 the AC went out in August and they took 12 days to replace it ! The insurance people were going back n forth with it. And this is Arizona. That was a miserable experience.

Best of luck in Vegas, I don't get to go anywhere cool but hopefully will be at a casino in a month to do a few poker tournies. Maybe I'll win a damn flip for a change ;)

Speaking of poker Negreanu barely missed final table at WSOP, out in 11th.

Welcome back Dustin. You've been a busy guy!

Looking for a new job too. Got laid off unexpectedly last week. Business downturn my ass....

Sorry to hear about your job. As some her might know, my ex wive stole $320 out of one of my savings account I had set up for my son in January and then again in March. When I reported it to the authorities she then stole three days worth of my mail including hundreds of dollars worth of cards I had purchased and I had to go get a PO Box. When I was working near Chicago last month she stole my sons iPhone 6 I bought him for Christmas and sold it. I have already had Apple trace the phone and reported it to the authorities. His mom is a complete whack job and I am going to go to court and fight for custody of my son, but I can't do that until I get a local job so I have a lead on a bread delivery job that I am waiting for my background check to come back so I can go take my drug test. Of course it is going to be a cut in pay, but I have to try to do what is best for my son. I hope you find something soon.

Good morning all. The boss is gone from work all through next week. Just in the 2 hours today the difference can be felt. We are still getting work done, but there isn't that feeling of him breathing down our necks while we work. Downside is that we have to take an early lunch today.
@Hawk8 sounds like a busy, but fun summer so far. I'm jealous of a lot of the stuff you have gotten to do. And as far as the drive in movie theater, we are lucky to have one in town here. They used to do double features, but for some reason they aren't this year. They also used to do a dusk to dawn, where they would show about 4 movies from 9 until the sun came out

Had an awesome three weeks! The drive in we went to was a double feature for less than the price it would have cost me to see one of those movies in the theater. We both enjoyed it.

@Hawk8 - good to see you back here, man. I know I would see your updates on FB.

Loved the road trip and wish I was still out there. There were so many more things I would have liked to do, but I had to get back home and get the process going on getting a new job.

Good morning all!
Sitting in a 737-300 on the tarmac in Houston, we're waiting to take off for Vegas.
We should get there about 1335, PST.
I should be planted in front of a slot machine by 1400.
Dustin- The road trip with your son sounds like you guys had an absolute blast!

We did have a blast. Enjoy Vegas! That city is still on my to do list.

A simple "I've been busy" would've been quicker to type out, @Hawk8. #ProTip

Please disregard my previous post from this morning. I've been busy lately. Good to be back lol.

Thanks, from what I see these tournaments I'm eyeing have a better structure than the crapshoots I've done in the past, so I have some actual time to make some moves. Any sportsbetting for you?
Nah, I'm strictly slot machines.I like them because I don't need a strategy, I just lose randomly.;-)

That's kind of the Mets style until this year

I was reading about a progressive slot that hadn't been hit in 20+ years since it came out, I forget the name but wonder if it was removed. Either a defect or extreme variance.

Using the custom-card maker on Topps website to create a new card is fun and so official looking. I'm thinking of actually having this made, if I can sneak it by their censors...

today was @$$#%^& so I would like another job BUT I'm counting down till I retire . My assistant got a $2.00 per hour raise - we work 50 plus hours a week .
I miss the traveling around but I was single and only remember certain BARS in some states during a 5000 mile party .

Evening, I swear I posted a good morning to everyone. Hmm

Long day at work then hit the gym afterwords. New personal best at the deadlift without wrist straps. Feels good.

Late mail too

That is pretty cool! Wouldn't mind doing some with Dawson like that from the draft and celebrity softball game.
