Outside of his obvious flaws, it's hard to argue McGwire's historical value and the boom of the late 90's-early 2000's.

I do believe Miguel Cabrera will make his way here once his career is finished.

I left off Clemente because I believe he belongs on the all time Mt Rushmore.

You're right - it does say "started after." I was thinking Clemente played the bulk of his career after 1963. Hate to see guys like Koufax, Aaron and Clemente left off some arbitrary never-to-be-built Mt. Rushmore because of this technicality. Maybe we can carve them in the cracks, so they don't fall through them

I'm surprised Bench hasn't been mention a lil more , and regarding Clemente(And as I was looking at info I saw he was actually signed as a Free Agent Amateur by the Brooklyn Dodgers 1st which I need knew) , Aaron etc they showed up on the other "All Time" Rushmore and Aaron "made" it so I wanted this to try and not overlap those who received multiple votes on that one.

Bonds deserves a spot, but I can't do it because of steroids. Fernando Valenzuela would look awesome carved on a Mt. Rushmore, head back staring straight up into space. But guess I'll go Griffey, barely inching Bench for last spot.

Ripken, Griffey, Henderson, and Ryan. Not necessarily the 4 best players. I went with Nolan, Cal, and Henderson because they are record holders, and then Griffey because he is the best all-around player who is not tied to PEDs.
