Should only count the last draft he was in, not the first. If that was the case then Lincecum shouldn't count for the 06 draft because he was drafted in 2003 by the Cubs in the 48th round.

Yeah, there may be a flaw with this methodology. Inconsistent with McDowell and Lincecum. I think I'll go with when they signed so McDowell would be 1987.

Also I always thought Luke Hochevar going be big. I watched him play AA ball in person against San Antonio Missions he smoked the team with 11 strikeouts in 7 1/3 innings. He blazed through AAA ball as well before making his debut.

Kershaw went to high school with Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, who was drafted #1 overall in the NFL draft.
That must rank as one of the most impressive high school sports classmates of all-time.
