It's a nice card, but not particularly rare. Here are some things that damaged the rarity for Series II Artist's Proofs:

- included in both hobby and retail packs (and hobby was 1:23 instead of 1:35)
- included in Hobby Reserve packs
- the set is shorter than most (just 220 cards as opposed to 330 for Series I)

But still it's a great looking card that always sells. One thing to look out for is that sometimes the Artist's Proof stamp does not completely stamp with gold foil. It can be nearly impossible to see sometimes. I have a Piazza Goin' Yard Artist's Proof with at least half the gold foil missing from the stamp.

***EDIT - note that this is for Series II Showcase Series Artist's Proofs only. Series I is a whole different situation.

This year and set has a ton of errors. If anyone see's one with the correct name let me know. Been looking forever. My card is 22/25

We talked about this before. I own the 21/25 which also has Rondell Whites name. My O'neill 21/25 is an error as well having Rusty Greers name on front. I did own a correct name O'neill at one time but I believe it was part of a huge trade and no longer in my PC.

There was an ARod Red Crusade PSA 10 that just ended yesterday too. That's just as nice, if not nicer, than his century marks!

I was watching the 98 Jeter Pinnacle Gold/30 and it only went for $320. Another one that ended a day later sold for $610. It seems to me the prices aren't as high on ST auctions as they would from individuals.
