So I called ebay, and as soon as I started to explain the situation, the CS rep gave me the buyer's name, and asked if it was them. Sounds like this person's antics are very familiar to the ebay people. The rep checked over my auctions, and the two messages the buyer sent me (both threatening me with suspension), told me I violated no rules, and am in the clear. Also, I'm requested to contact ebay again if there are any more issues with this buyer (specifically them not paying), so it looks like they've gotten a few NPBs.

Buyer's name is koolkat39, just FYI. Adding it to the psycho bidder list.

That is a crappy buyer for sure. I'd love anyone with 15 cent additional fee, Most are 25-50 cents for more. If you cap it at some point, then you are a HOF seller in my book.

But wait: there's more!

"You sadly spoke to an idiot as most companies have answer phone on SUNDAY.
I'll be making a call tomorrow to an eBay SUPERVISOR Specialist. You can
cancel this transaction willingly, or eBay will. This is the only option
eBay will give"

"It's a shame I have to deal with people like you just to donate cards to
hospitalized children..."

Nice to see CardCop is still around, and is calling himself Joan.

So they left me a negative today, for items which they refuse to pay for (I called ebay and it's already been removed). Ebay encouraged me to open up the NPN now, so now she has 12 cases pending, which I will close as soon as ebay allows. The first rep I spoke to implied this was an issue with the buyer, so maybe these 12 NPBs will get ebay to take some action. Here's her latest insanity:

"I contacted eBay & the first person I got *contradicted every single thing
you stated eBay told you*. I doubt you called eBay at all. Someone's a liar
here and it certainly is not I.

If you want to waste you money (which you are not) shipping directly from
the Post Office (where employees get decent discounts). So you lied right
there. I spoke to my local Postal supervisor who is a friend to get that
fact..."

I laughed at the idea that postal employees get shipping discounts; I know there's a few other carriers here who may also find that funny. I encourage everyone here to block this buyer ASAP: koolkat39

Why would you close them?

Why would you close them?

Not close them, I meant close them out as in requesting fee refunds and having the NPB recorded. I have no intention of letting this guy off the hook, and I know he isn't going to pay. I'm tempted to block him now, but if blocking means he can't pay, then that might give him a way to get out of 12 NPBs.

LOL...cardcop a blast from the past....

This type of situation is exactly why I'm doing less with eBay and more with COMC......

Please PM me this eBay user ID as I'd like to block them as well. I don't sell many cards on eBay but I'd rather not have to deal with this. If you have his email address, even better as it blocks any user ID associated with it.

Wow, I have worked for the USPS for over 20 years, and never got one cent off anything! There is no discount for employees, and never will be. This person is a total psycho and a complete liar. So sorry to hear about this. Maybe this person is so bored with life they need something to do. My opinion is to have them GET OFF MY PLANET!

Ugh what a nightmare. Hopes this all works out in your favor Bacon.

So far, so good. Ebay removed the negative, and had me open up NPBs for each of the 12 items. Early Friday evening, 4 days will be up and I can request a fee credit, and he's got 12 fresh NPBs on his record. Now I know why the first ebay rep knew who I was talking about before I even said their name.
