I have a question about Griffeys 1992 leaf black gold previews(one where he is bunting). I think it's 24 of 33. Is there a silver variation of this? I was looking through yesterday and noticed my card had no gold and was all in silver. Anyone?

Similar to the 1992 Topps Gold cards, the foil has different variations in pigment. Silver to gold to bronze. It's not necessarily a "silver variation." It's more of a "gold variation that wasn't printed properly." ...if that makes sense

Some collectors who want every single oddball/variation go after them, but it's not something that's traditionally considered a different card.

Thanks for input. Here is the scan.

Someone posted a few days ago asking about a 1998 Epix All-Star, got me looking around. I can't find much historically on the All-Star (holographic) versions as far as pricing goes. Anyone have any idea what a fair price for the All-Star Orange, All-Star Purple or All-Star Emerald would be? magicpapa ?

Sorry, no such luck. Going slow on the Griffey Epix as they can be an expensive endeavor. I have seen the Griffey AS Emerald go on the bay for $15-20 in recent months. So stay patient there. I am sure one will pop.

I'm surprised that none of the Missing Epix's never showed up

Or that the '98 Mirror Black Griffey hasn't surfaced - yes, it's a 1/1, but I always wondered that if they had a photo for this promo ad, maybe they produced the card? Or I'm reading too much into it. Or it really does exist but the owner wants to keep it a secret.

When I get back I will load a few others..

I absolutely love that middle one. It's on my short list of griffey autos to add.

I did pick this up in a trade to sell. It's in amazing condition and making contemplate grading it for those purposes.
