The playoffs are upon us, so here's a contest open to the first 32. One entry per person.
Please do not submit your entry in this thread. Only PMs will be accepted.
The top overall score at the end of the Super Bowl will receive what at least I think is a nice NFL related prize. Retail Value anywhere between $50-$1,000.
Although this game requires some strategy, it is very easy to play. Any questions, just ask!
DEADLINE
Friday, Jan 4th
As long as your PM has a timestamp before Jan 5th, and you're one of the first 32, you're in.
HOW TO PLAY
1. Earn points based on 12 different statistical categories.
2. Assign any playoff team you like to each category, then assign that team-category to one of the four rounds in the playoffs.
Examples:
MIN for Rushing Yards in the Wild Card Round
DEN for Passing Yards in the Divisional Round
HOU for Sacks in the Conference Championship Round
3. Each category carries a different point value depending on which round you are assigning that category to. See the scoring chart below.
Notes
Each category can only be used once.
Each round must have at least one entry assigned to it.
Bonus points will be awarded depending on the number of different teams you use.
ENTRY FORM + EXTRA INFO
If you have Microsoft Excel, here`s a spreadsheet to help you fill out your team. It includes an entry form, team abbreviations, scoring chart, 2012 team totals, and a playoff bracket.
