Looks like everyone has a good handle on how to score your team. Other than ballparks, this is exactly how you score the rest of your franchise.

The scoring for winning pct. has been fixed. Not sure how it got switched around, but you definitely get more points for having a winning record. Sorry about that!

Closers and Catchers will report tomorrow.

Chris I'll try to get to this tonight. Looks like 14 hours again today, so it might wait until tomorrow. I'll get it caught up sometime if you post stuff tomorrow. Worst case it'll get done Saturday. I love your games, so I will get it done, just not sure when.

This notice is required by law.

ok, here goes, hopefully

SP1 B2H13 - 86 - Chief Bender (HOF) - F25 - Shutouts 2 x 100 = 200

SP3 C9Z15 - 56 - David Wells - C25 - Whip 1.11 x -8 = -8.88

SP5 A1A1 - 5 - Warren Spahn (HOF) - J4 - HR Allowed 19 x -5 = -95

I will be out of town for a funeral beginning on Wednesday. I should be back by Saturday afternoon. I may try to keep up with scoring while I'm gone. If not, I'll catch up when I return.

200 + 60 + -8.88 + -230 + -95 = -73.88

Your score for Wells is actually 140. His WHIP was 0.14 below the 1.25 benchmark that year (a good thing). So, he earns 10 points for every .01 below 1.25.

Your revised total is 75: 200 + 60 + 140 - 230 - 95 = 75

Here's an updated leaderboard:

2014leaderboard.jpg

Numbers in red indicate HOFers. This will be a handy reference for the bonus scoring.

wildcat4 Hendersonfan or anyone else: there is absolutely no problem with catching up later. This is just a fun diversion and is about as low a priority as it gets!
