I have the Bernie 21/25 also with the Rondell name. I have the O'neill wrong name with Greer /25 and also an O'neill /25 with the correct name.

Does anyone know what the specific variations are for the 2010 Upper Deck Double Take card of Heath Bell?

I have not seen a scan of the card since the set was released.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned - 1989 Cadaco Ellis Discs with and without team and league on back.

I heard about a couple of variations I didn't know existed today from bbcgalaxee in 2002 bowman draft.

BDP125 Bret Myers can be found with his last name as Myers or Meyers on the card back
BDP133 Drew Henson can be found with his position as either OF or 3B on the card back

I checked my inventory and out of 9 Hensons I had (3) 3b variations and from 7 Myers I had (4) Meyers variations.

Are these just the paper version or chrome also?

I found an interesting printing error when sorting some 1994 collector's choice today. I noticed 4 cards I had were missing the grayish pinstriping on the border. They are completely white. Has anyone seen this error before?

Haven't heard of that one but I know the up close cards can be found with a tan colored bottom border.

Do you have a scan? By any chance are any of the 4 Yankees?

No Yankees. I scanned a normal Hershiser along side the stripeless for reference.

I collect similar Yankees print errors and I have none of those and never came across those before. Pretty cool. I wish you had some Yankees or my players. Thanks for the peek!

Can anyone verify that there are two different copyright lines for 1987 Sportflics cards? It's written that they can be found with either a 1986 line, or a 1987/no year line. Every one I've found has the 1986 date; supposedly the factory set cards have the 1986 date, but all of mine come from packs (which are supposed to have the 1987/no line).

Sandberg is on three cards in the 1987 Sportflics set - #8 , #116 , #187 . I have the '86 and '87 copyrights for #8 . I have the '86 and '87 copyrights for #116 and the no copyright saved on COMC.

Edit:

Here are some borrowed scans from COMC showing '86 and '87 copyrights.

Does anyone have either of the variations of Tim Lincecum's 2007 Upper Deck All Star Fanfest card?

The All Star logos on the cards read "All Star Week" instead of "All Star Game."

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am not entirely sure that every card exists with the 1986, 1987 and no copyright. I have a couple of my players that I have the 1986 and 1987 cr, one that I have all 3 and one that I have only ever been able to find the 1986.

I suspect that the pack issued cards with a 1986 copyright were never corrected and that is the only version that exists. I keep thinking I should find a cheap wax box and a cheap factory set just to see what I get.

Not all cards come in 1986 and 1987 versions. Some cards can be found without copyright and with 1987 copyright. But the subjects affected do not overlap. There won't be a 1986, 1987 and no c/r for any single player. The subjects who come in no c/r versions will not have a 1986 version, as their "corrected" type will have a 1987 c/r.

Now I'm really confused. I nearly put together a set (pulled from packs) that all have a 1986 date. As far as I can tell, every card has a 1986 version, and a 1987/no line version (which I have never owned any and have never seen any in person). The almighty Beckett says cards 1-35, 41-75, 81-115, 121-155 and 161-195 are the ones with the 1987 line, the rest are found without a copyright line. BUT they also say the 1987/no line are only found in packs, which is not true at all.

It sounds like you're saying there are some cards without a 1986 line?

I may be incorrect in that the no copyright affected subjects also come in 1987 types, rather, they may come in no c/r and 1986 c/r. But three versions do not exist for any particular card.

And, it's true, the origin of the 1987 type is still a mystery. I have broken factory sets that had the 1986 and missing c/r types inside. Same with wax. I've yet to pull any 1987 c/r cards.
