Nice Surhoff/Clark!

Never forget the Brewers picked Surhoff ahead of The Thrill

Thanks for pointing that out, forgot that Surhoff and Clark went back to back. Makes me like the pack even more!

Little known fact that you probably know as a Brewers fan:

Surhoff actually had more hits than Clark in his career.
Surhoff: 2,326
Clark's 2,176

And Surhoff had only 50 fewer RBI.

Of course Surhoff played longer, and Clark was the much better hitter in his prime, but most people don't realize that Surhoff was a really good player too.

And BBCGalaxee, really cool rack and cello packs.
I have a few '86-'92 Topps rack packs that I kept sealed when I was a kid because I thought they'd be cool to open in 20-30 years. :/

But nothing as cool as yours. I do have one with an '87 Ruben Sierra on top which was a big deal back then, especially as a Rangers fan.

Thanks, I just enjoy picking them up for pocket change and reliving a part of my childhood.

I used to keep them sealed back then also and display them in a small table top showcase (still have it too)

Although I'm a big Clark fan, I almost mentioned this last night. Surhoff had a decent career for sure. He wasn't a bust.

Like many from youth however, his best years were after he left town lol

Anyone know if a player is always in the same place (middle or end) esp on the front, and maybe on the back (top, middle or end) on 1987 Rak Packs? I have never seen a Will Clark on front in any other place then the end. Never in the middle. Is that the case for all?

I think each card has a specific pocket.

But I have a football card showing in a baseball rak so you never know.
