Been a longtime since I posted on this thread. Trying to determine the value of a couple of cards.
2006 Sweet Spot Griffey #SS-KG2 Black and White .One has black ink and one with red ink. Anyone have a clue on value?

Someone help me...were these made after Sweet Spot corrections were made so the sigs wouldn't fade? The Sweet Spot cards are a crap shoot.

Thought I'd give all my fellow FCB Junior fans a crack at this card first before I post it on eBay or Blowout. I picked this up awhile back with a card that was on my list. Send me a personal message should you be seriously interested. Trade (pre-2000) and best offers will be considered.

Have a great week everyone. I hope the weekend was fantastic for everyone.

No I don't believe that's legit... $1750 , maybe , $17500 no

Ryan

As odd as it sounds, $1750 would be very low for this card. There are 5-6 Griffey cards out there that really have no ceiling. Several people have standing $10K+ offers out for Crusade Reds and Ex2001 future credentials. This 24kt, 97 Finest Gold Embossed, and Flair Perfect 10 are some others that could/would bring several grand.

I understand the market , and $1750 may be a lil low, I could see $3500 or under but if $17500 was paid that is silly. The Masterpiece Flairs didn't bring that (If I remember correctly) . And I don't feel the 24kt falls in the same category as the Crusade Reds.

Someone actually listed one of these 24kt Golds that sold for $80 a lil over a year ago. Oops . I see a Now Credential sold in 2012 for $4k, but can't tell if there was a BO on it. Still a good market for sure.

Anyway , the 24kts are very nice , I own the Clark and its one of my favorites. But $17500, no thanks

But at the same time, I'd love to see one of the "huge" Griffey cards have a .99 cent/no reserve auction run its course. It would be fun to watch.

The the seller actually bought that card for $550 it was graded an sgc92 or something, same serial number. It was case cracked and relisted. Auction ended at a weird time but I saw the buy on advanced past ebay sales.
