Looooooosiana!
While doing my daily search for Jason Castro and Marwin Gonzalez cards about ten days ago, I found a set that seemed bland enough but I didn't realize existed. While researching, I found out that there are only 10 copies of each card. Since I have safely nabbed my Jason Castro, take a look at the 2014 Topps First Edition.

So these cards were given out as a set to the ten winners of the Spring Training Access Pass contest, of which there were ten possible winners. No idea how many people actually won and I doubt Topps ever tells.

So are there any sets that you've stumbled upon that somehow passed by without you even realizing they existed?

Topps collectors might have known about these, but I didn't know these were available until they started popping up on eBay and trade threads:

Here's a thread about these from Feb-a bunch popped up on the Bay then and then again in April. Some good info in the threads.

Doerrcollector, yes they are sold online. The set of 10 was $100. I've sold four (including Bryant and Correa) for $102 before fees, so as long as I sell the cheaper ones I'll come out ahead.

Therion, four of the First Edition sets have come up for sale. That's probably the only ones that were redeemed. I'm glad I didn't go after the 2014 Stanton rainbow. I didn't feel like spending a ton for a foil stamp

There have been 4 sets broken up and sold on eBay. So far, I've got all the Jay Bruce cards including base, the league leaders and rbi leaders that have been made available. My average price per card has been about $12 each.

How about this one?

I've had it since it came out and whoever I've shown them to had no idea.

Came in a book along with Mantle, Reggie and O'Neill

For about 32 years I didn't know the 1971 Fleer World Series set existed. I had about 20-25 of these cards that I had as a kid. I put them away in a cigar box thinking they were odd oversized cards. Then around 2003, on Ebay or Sportlots I realized it was a set and decided to finish it.

The one with the SF ball park is the most common, the one with the Golden Gate Bridge is SP and the bottom one is SSP. For some reason I was thinking there was a variation with a trolley.

I sure hope theres not another one, I've only seen 1 of each others of the SP and SSP Griffey
