New Beta Android App Available

A new copy of the android app will soon go to the market place.

It's still completely free and includes a features update as well as a few quality of life improvements.

You can download it here...

You may have to set your phone to allow for non app store items to be installed. Instructions here.

If you don't wanna mess with all this just wait for the update in the app store in a couple of days.

Most recent in a time frame.

It tries to be a snap shot of the last 12 hours.

The biggest upgrade is the photo compression. Images should load much faster and cleaner now.

Chris - My old apps never displays the images that are in the threads properly. Any fixes to address that?

Never had issues with pics not showing up. Some where big but most were the sized to fit the screen.

Interesting...I was not logged in via the app so all the pics showed as broken links, once I logged in I can see them.

Yes. You have to register to see them.

I noticed an error last week that could be affecting their delivery and I spent a bit of time today trying to troubleshoot it.

The new version of the app WILL IN FACT have working push notifications.
