Pinnacle began using that technology around 1993 and made some of the nicest looking cards from that era. My favorite would be the 1995 Pinnacle White Hot insert set. I also dig all the 1993 & 94 Select dufex inserts, 1995 Zenith Rookie Roll Call & 1996 Zenith Mozaics insert sets, and some of their fanfest dufex cards. So what are your favs?

Select R/T All Rookies, Aces, ROY & Ryan inserts, Zenith Z-Team & Rookie Roll Call among others. Don't forget other sports too, like the Bledsoe Pinnacle Passer NNO insert & Back to school mail in, Faulk/Wilkinson Select rookie specials, Franco harris Select, etc.

Dufex is a great technology for cards for sure. I would have liked to see more of it on different designs.

I believe they called this Spectra Etch. In 1994 Skybox had a two sided 'vs' insert set. The Superman vs Doomsday was the best with the opposing point of views.

Forgot about those Church's Chicken cards. Lots of good mid 90s Dufex love.

Another Special Dufex set was the Select Young Stars FB set.

Also the Select Future Force insert set.
