^I would have loved to watch Clemente play.

The Mexican Erubiel Durazo 2002

5/17-5/18: 5-7, 4 HR, 1 2B, 10 RBI, 4 R, 2 BB

Score of 32.

My Guy Mr. Robert Pershing Doerr 1950 :D

6/8-6/9: 5-10, 4 HR, 11 RBI, 6 R, 1 BB

Score of 30 on the nose! Red Sox scored 29 runs in his 3 home run game, with the help of two HR games by Teddy Ballgame and Walt Dropo. You know the opposing pitchers are struggling when they walk your pitcher 4 times and let up 2 hits to him as well.

Strong game for Doerr, specially as a 2B. Here are the other 2B scores so far.

'Best Name Ever' Mr. George Mitterwald 1974

4/16-4/17: 6-6, 3 HR, 1 2B, 8 RBI, 3 R, 3 BB

Score of 30. I'll try to only post games over 30 from here on out but based on this guys name and him being the only 1.000 BA on the list, I had to post him.

Did you see his nickname was Baron Von Mitterwald? #4 on the list of catchers.

With the latest additions, there are now 53 players with scores of 30 or more.
So essentially there are 50 on the dot if you take away the double header performances. (I don't think you should, but I'm just going by the thread title of back to back days)

I think we have 99.9% of the 30 scores covered from 1915 on wards. I browsed a few dozen more players today and didn't come up with any more of over 30. Few close, but not enough. We did alright. :)

Somehow we missed The Kid in 1985. #24 on the overall list and 2nd best catcher score of all-time.

Missed some, huh tp? I'll check tonight see if I can't find anymore. (Pitching, too)

I found this "Streak Finder" functionality on baseball-reference

http://www.baseball-reference.com/play-index/

It lets you put in a stat like Ks, shutouts, HR, total bases, RBIs, etc and it spits out players that meet the criteria. The key was setting it tight enough so only players with 2 game streaks were displayed. An easy one is showing which player have 2 or more HR. Selecting a timeframe of 1993-2013, you get these results.

http://www.baseball-reference.com/p...s&pob=&pod=&pcanada=&pusa=&ajax=1&submitter=1

The only down side is that non-subscribers don't get to see all of the data. Regardless, it still helped unearth a few gems.

Gil Hodges had a game in 1950 where he went 5 for 6 with 4 HR, 9 RBI, and 5 R. That by itself is 30 points. Unfortunately he had negative points the game before and after so he doesn't make the list.

I saw this game by Tim Bogar on Aug 14, 1993 where he went 4 for 5 with 2 HR, 2 2B, 4 RBI, and 4 R and then didn't play for the rest of the season. I was curious what happened and found it here.

http://studiousmetsimus.blogspot.com/2012/03/15-years-later-april-fools-day-eve.html

On August 14, 1993, Tim Bogar started at second base for the Mets against the Phillies at Veterans Stadium. The game looked like any other for Bogar, as he flied out to center in his first at-bat. But what he did in his next four at-bats turned him into an instant Mets legend.

In the third inning, Bogar doubled to right and later scored on an error. Two innings later, Bogar doubled again and scored on a Dave Gallagher hit. It was only the second time in Bogar's career that he had picked up multiple extra-base hits in the same game, having accomplished the feat on June 19, 1993 against the Pirates. But against the other team from Pennsylvania, Bogar wasn't quite finished.

With the Mets holding on to a slim 5-4 lead in the sixth, Bogar unloaded a three-run homer off reliever Mike "Mitch is the other guy" Williams. It was Bogar's second career home run and gave the Mets and Bobby Jones (who was making his major league debut in the game) a four-run cushion.

Finally, in the ninth inning, with the lead cut to 8-5, Bogar came up one last time. And we do mean one LAST time, as he hit a fly ball that eluded centerfielder Lenny Dykstra. By the time the play was over, Bogar had scored on an inside-the-park home run, giving him four extra-base hits on the day. However, that would be Bogar's final at-bat of his rookie season, as he injured his hand sliding into home plate and did not play again until the following season.

tpeichel Check to see if I did my maths correct. Bryce Harper 5/6/15-5/8/15 (2 gms) 6-8 5HR 10RBI 5R = 34 points, which would put him T26th.

get that overrated garbage out of here. lol ;)
Ha... ;)

Amazing what he is capable of when he is healthy and swinging the bat well. Most impressive thing to me is that he hit 2 to RF, 1 to RCF, 1 to LF, and 1 to LCF. STILL only 22 years old!

The thing for me is the amount of walks he is taking this year. he has been much more patient. its days like these that make me happy i started collecting him. Now lets see if he can keep it going.

That's funny, I was just thinking about that this morning. Your math is correct.

David Rush (April 11th, Double-header) - 12-13, 9 HRs, 2 2Bs, 22 RBIs, 12 Runs.

...a legit beer-league softball performance.
