I'm sitting at my desk and looking over some of my new arrivals. Checking them out to see if they're worth stabbing.
This is the backside of the Ventura red refractor auto 25/25 I got in this week.
I got this in yesterday. Purchased for the HOF section of my PC.
These are pics of the back corners.
Maybe I'm being picky, but when I pay full price for a card I expect at least NM/MT. Some folks are getting messages today.

Nice mailday today. Got the Strata 1/1 Auto in hand and it is a beaut. Damn it's thick! Looks good properly scanned. Plus 3 other Grace autos arrived.

Saw a few 2015 NT Game balls listed last night. Nobody I needed and starting out high. Have a few new names to look for this year. Keeping my fingers crossed all were made. Haven't seen even a hint of a giancarlo stanton from last year

btw - I had the chance to buy that other Jay Bruce 1/1 that you posted at a show in October for $30.00. Made a mental note to myself to go back to the table and get it. Walked out of the show and forgot it. The ebay seller is a local seller. I contacted him about it and within 2 min of hanging up the phone, it had a bid. I'm thinking he shilled his auction to try luring me in to buying it.

So, the reason I asked the other day if it were a patch or not is because I guess some have patches and some don't.

Apparently this 1/1 is a patch not just a background.
Alex, there are "base" non material autos including it's 1/1 (like Brads), then the other shadow box 1/1s include a jumbo logo patch (like the Votto you posted) as well as a button hole 1/1 variant, a button variant, a majestic logo patch variant, a logoman 1/1 variant, and a laundry tag variant. I might be missing one or two 1/1 variants but there are multiple if that makes sense.
