Big shoutout to joey12508 (Kevin) for sending me a Jim Thome card in the mail yesterday. It was a 1998 Purple Donruss Crusade card. Wow! This card is amazing in hand! The generosity of the guys on this board just blows me away. Thank you Kevin!
Not a baseball item but a pretty rare collectible. A signed lithograph by Bill Watterson. These were sent to the newspapers back in 1992 as a thank you for sticking with Watterson and Calvin and Hobbes while he took a 9 month sabbatical (these were sent shortly after he returned.)
Watterson is notoriously tough when it comes to autographs and when it comes to licensing Calvin and Hobbes for much of anything so legit C&H Watterson items are tough to come by.

Yes, and thank you for the pics. I'm going to learn how to do that one day. And your timing was immpecable. My wife has been in the hospital for the last 24 days with liver, cancer, and kidney problems. It's amazing how a single baseball card can brighten your day so much. Thanks again Kevin!
Decent Chuck....

When I initially made the list of cards I wanted to collect from the set, Dustin Pedroia wasn't on the it, but when I saw the card below, I felt that the dirt/blood stain was a great representation of his scrappy style of play.

Nice item. He used to go into a local bookstore and sign the C&H books that they had. After a while people caught on and he stopped.
Still my all time favorite comic strip.
