Some nice finds lately:
GameBoySP1.JPGNASA Knife Set.JPG
Gameboy Advance NASA knife set

Garmin GPS.JPG Topps Basketball Set.JPG
Garmin handheld GPS LEBRON Factory sealed

I hope people start to post in this thread again. I love it and I know that Rum & Astro left, but I know lots of people are still doing this.
Sports Card and stuff related - I went to an estate sale and the entire porch was full of cards and other sports stuff. I went through sets that had good cards (not many) but all the key cards were pulled. Well I picked up some stuff anyway & I think I had a GREAT find. A binder that had 2 complete sets of 1970 Kellogg's 3-D Super Star sets of Football. I have one listed on ebay now. Also got a few figures, a binder of Topps Finest Basketball (I think the first year - Shaq's Rookie??) No Jordan but some nice cards I guess - don't follow basketball much. A nice sealed Jordan poster book and some of those 23K gold cards - Ruth, Ryan, Ripken. Let's get this thread going again. Heading out in the AM again! Happy hunting

Been hot on the yard sale trail.

Got an enormous box of cards last weekend for $15. Mostly overproduced junk but roughly 30-40 HOF vintage cards. Plus a McGwire baseball for free. Bunch of fishing stuff for the kid.

Quick question. There is zero sports hats t-shirts jerseys etc. at local thrift stores. None. But I see a ton at yard sales. I'm clueless on the market. Should I be grabbing it? Anyone consign?

With my new job, I went from working 1 to 9, to mornings 730 to 4. I used to hit my goodwill stores with a regular rotation every morning after I dropped alie off at school. Now, I head home after work, pick up the kids, play with them for a bit, then strap on the apron and start dinner, do dishes, etc etc. No time for thrifting.

Until this past wednesday. Jen had the day off, which meant I didn't have to come home right after work. So I got permission to go out. I hit 4 stores, and came home with 2 nfl jerseys (owens cowboys and manning colts), a tarheel football jersey, a vikings flag football jersey, and 36 t shirts. I spot checked em, ran em all thru laundry, and started the picture process this morning. I'm not done yet, but figured for old times sake I would post some goodies.

Good to see you back. I should have re-phased my post...I know you & Rum are still around, I should have said just not as often. I guess most of us are pretty busy with life. I need to talk to Rum again anyway. Hope to see some of his normal great finds. Got some good stuff today - A Stop sign (a real one) for $1.00 - couldn't pass it up and another Polaroid camera. Sports related - got 5 jersey's for $10.00 - 2 Grant Hill - Magic, Dwight Howard - Magic, Vick - Falcons & a Florida Gator jersey.

Rum is the king of hats. He knows every style ever made I think. Astro is the t-shirt guy and they both know about jerseys. I gave up on T-shirts - I think I just suck at picking good ones. Even ones I think should sell have not. I buy jerseys (see prior post) and hats if they are in good shape and cheap.
