suspended indefinitely by the NFL

Yeah after reviewing the tape Goodell noticed a joint in ray rice's non-punching hand and realized how serious this really is.
Goodell should resign. His zero tolerance rhetoric is empty and I hope the public demands that he step down. There is no way tmz saw this tape and the nfl didn't. And if they did, shame on the nfl for not having the same pull as a trashy news outlet.

That was the first question I had when I read about this today and saw the NFL state that they did not have this video when handing out their suspension. How does the NFL not have the juice to get the hotel elevator video and TMZ does?

I don't believe for a minute that Goodell hasn't seen this video. If it's ever proven that he did, then his ass needs to be fired. If, however, he hadn't seen the video until TMZ released it, then seitas is exactly right. TMZ is in the business of finding and releasing trashy video, but Goodell and the NFL are in the business of stacking paper. The two-game suspension is even more of a travesty now, and so is Goodell's subsequent domestic abuse punishment policy.

Either way, Goodell has become too much of an embarrassment to the league. His "make it up as I go along" suspensions are a joke.

I find it incredibly difficult to believe that the NFL did not see that video. I mean how in the world was that video not released?! I thought the NFL had what the police had... so literally no one saw it? This entire story and situation is just strange. Has anyone ever thought about the casino (who went under by the way) selling this to TMZ? LOL... I mean just freaking strange... I wouldn't be surprised if Ray and his "team" contacted the casino and offered to buy the damn video off them.
