Got this one in today from Mike Dupree. I am hoping to get it signed by another player if possible. I need to look them up. Took 17 days.

Got returns from two former Cubs today. Bird took 10 days and Engel took 8 days.

Great stuff Danny! I got my first rts today and leaves me with one stamp and I can't get anymore till next week... What should I do?

Nothing in today, but a bunch of 1958 cards arrived that are going out in the next week.
Tomorrow's outgoing are to Don Larsen ($5), Frank Sullivan ($5) and Dick Groat, plus maybe a few more.

It was nice of the son to respond. Always sad when part of the history of the game passes on.

Yeah, I'm heartbroken, he was the nicest guy, we hung out at his house for hours, had a couple of beers with him, it's so sad, at least I'll have my memories

Got these 4 in on Friday. Rich Bordi, Dave Gumpert, Mike Bielecki and Rick James. As best as I can tell Rick James wasn't on any cards. He played in 1967.

Got 6 more in today. Jose Hernandez, Ty Griffin, Lance Dickson, Curt Simmons, Ernie Broglio and Bob Zick. It doesn't appear that Zick was issued a card. He played for the Cubs in 1954. He added the picture which he signed as well.

Bob Friend on a 1958 Topps card, signed in fine blue sharpie, sent to his home on 5/12/14. (This is the Mound Aces card and will now go to Billy Pierce)

Nice returns Danny. I need to send out the mound aces card before its too late, not many multi player cards left from that era you can still complete.
