If this is the real deal, then the Tampa GM should lose his job. It's one thing to get something in return for a guy who'll be leaving in a few months, it's another thing to get mouthraped when you hold the key card in a deal.

That is an absolute terrible trade for the Rays. The guy was under contract for another year. They should have gotten a lot more in return.

And it's even worse considering David Price in under contract next year.
