2005 Turkey Red

Does anyone have a complete or decent sized starter set of 2005 Topps Turkey Red? I've looked on eBay but with no luck I'm just wanting to complete the base set with SPs. I've done it backwards as I started with completely the 07 set and now the 06 set, figured I should go ahead and get 05 knocked out too. Thanks!

2005 is numbered 1-300, correct? I'll have to check. I've toyed with completing this also, but I can't remember if I started with '05 or '06.

I believe Turkey Red 2005 has 315 cards. The SPs make it a bit tougher to complete

This 330-card set was released in August, 2005. The set was issued in eight-card packs with a $4 SRP which came 24 packs to a box and eight boxes to a case. Interspersed throughout the set are both short prints and reprinted cards of some of the great players in the original set. The SP's were issued at a stated rate of one in four. Cards numbered 271 through 300 feature Rookie Cards while cards 301 through 315 feature retired greats.

Sorry I just am getting caught up on the board, not very active yesterday. Pms have been set. The SPs in Turkey Red aren't that bad, I got most of the ones I needed from comc for .75 to 1.25 and they had them all in stock. Why I felt the need to get 05 is the numbering in 06 starts at 316, where 05 left off. I think that's kinda unique plus it'll look good in one big binder together. Thanks everyone

What is the bottom card? Cloth or frame? It's a bit difficult to see the difference between that and the first regular grey border.

2007 started back at #1 though and had a different look IIRC. You're right, 2005 and 2006 would look nice together.

Yeah, 07 is a completely different look. It was the first one I completed and it ended up a bit pricer than I expected.

I love the TR line but 2007 sucked! I put it together but grudgingly so. I'm working on 05 still. I've completed the 2006 base set with all sp's and the red parallel set as well. I'm currently doing the football and basketball sets. Suffice it to say I love me some Turkey Red. Probably easily my favorite set in the last twenty five years.
