This product is going to elicit some of the most griffeyfan-esque Buy It Now Or Best Offer scenarios ever seen. $300+ per card packs = don't expect any auctions or non-premium pricing.

Trying to figure out the print run.
72 of the Auto'd patch, each #'d to 10 = 720
6 of the Auto'd dual relic each #'t to 5 = 30
50 of the Cut Signatures each #'d to 1 = 50
10 of the Cut Signature Dual Relic #'d to 1 = 10

720 + 30 + 50 + 10 = 810

Now, some of the Auto'd patches have 1/1 parallels. Let's assume half (36) do. Still only 846 boxes.

Starting listing tonight, pretty poor image quality from sellers so far, so hurried to get them listed I suppose.

Also, for $300/card, you'd think all the patches would be A+ grade, very colorful & aligned like the sell pictures.

I ordered some extra product from a distributor. Got a funny call from him earlier today, saying do I know what I was paying and am I sure I wanted them to ship it. WTF? I ordered it didn't I? It was almost like he wanted me to cancel my order...very strange.

looks like some cases have an extra hit, just saw 2 busted and each case had a Darvish redemption as an additional card

Nope, sold 3 cases hours after they came in. Amazing cards! Each case had a box with an extra redemption card (2 hits), nice.

Here is the biggest hit I saw:

I really like the look of these cards

"Redemptions as extra hits" - what a lame way to make it look like they're trying to add value.

Extra hits are extra hits. These are not extra baseball cards, they are little 2 1/2 x 3/12 blue card with a promise wiating to be broken. Topps' track record with redemptions is god awful. Classic distraction.

Darvish seems to be good on signing, at least. I wouldn't complain too much about that.

However, I am complaining about this card.


No photo? For the "most carefully curated set" in history, you couldn't procure a Paige image? Is this actually a Famous Fabrics card that was misprinted with the Dynasty logo?

Actually it looks like most of the cut autos are lacking a photo. Earl Weaver is an exception, though. And the sell sheets have Ruth and Gehrig with photos on their cuts. Weird.

It's not about securing an image, it's about paying for the rights to use his likeness. If this is the only set that Paige is being used in this year, it isn't worth Topps's while to pay his family to use his image. Ruth and Gehrig are in a number of sets, so they bought their rights for the whole year (or I guess a larger period of time through BMG or whatever). Topps just doesn't make as many HOF cards anymore, so they don't wanna pay for the rights just for a 1/1.
