Noted and added to my list.

If anyone else has a tek needs list, shoot me a PM if you want. I'm going to track down this shop and one other I know of here in DFW that has singles.

Dear Gwynn545,
Please send MansGame your Gwynn Tek list when you get home.
Love, Gwynn545

@MansGame - I pretty much need almost all of #51 Ripkens. I only have pattern #6, 60 and 71 (Boooooo, I know, trust me, I know). I'd like to get as many as you can get for me (for cheap, hopefully). Any idea how much they're going for?

I was told high becket or something... either way, not expensive in my eyes. I'll look for you. Have you looked in the other obvious places? Sportslots, COMCs, Beckett marketplace, etc.? I'm sure he will have a Ripken or two and if so, I'll pick up for you.

I was just there at Triple Cards in Plano last week and dont recall any 98 TEK Ripkens. The other shop in the Dallas/Plano area (Nicks) caters more to older set set builders (no TEK there for sure) and his cards are organized by players for the newer stuff (if any). Nice guy who runs Nicks but I just didnt have time to go digging through his cards for specific cards of specific set/years as his shop is mostly organized by players. 1998 TEK Ripkens are $ 12, not $ 5, no matter how much someone would like them to be $ 5.

I have 1400+ 98 TEKs and buy/sell/trade 1988 TEK for 1998 TEK at HIGH Beckett with postage and cost of bubble mailer or boxes added. Lists furnished upon request to [email protected]

11 1998 TEK Cal Ripken are either on Beckett Marketplace or COMC; they range $12.25 to $4.80.

Not sure if this is "new" news, but Burbank has listed some TEK.......I just paid $.95-$1.01 for Lankford.

I typically dont buy anymore on Beckett Marketplace because their shipping charges are excessive for single card purchases. Ive only recently in last six months been buying needed singles on COMC and have had pretty good luck there. Sportlots is a good place for TEks except when the sellers are too lazy to list the patterns. Most do though and there is one main TEK seller who has 75-80% of the TEKs listed

I used to like 33 for base, but now 68 is pretty much my only favorite.

Diffractors are a different story - so many patterns that I haven't seen a good scan of. Just about any pattern with lots of white are great for Diffractors because it makes the cracked glass effect really pop.

I was hoping when I started this thread that we'd get a lot more scans of Diffractors, but it hasn't happened. I'll repost one now:

Pattern 38

Burbank had 7 Lankford TEK I needed plus several other cheap Lankford inserts i wanted so shipping was no biggie.
