It certainly feels a little strange seeing them there after he has passed on, but I imagine that for Topps to get as many on-card autos as possible, they have to get the try to get the players signing as early as possible. And for the most part it seems like people are happy for one last chance to snag an on-card Stan, even if the sig tells the story of a man (The Man) in his last days, who for the first time after so many decades of signing his always recognizable John Hancock, was reduced to an almost illegible scribble.
