As for Biggio, I think a good number of voters consider him a Don Sutton type stats compiler. He will get in, but it will take 3-5 years.

Came home from work, sick. Slept on the couch for a couple hours. Woke up just in time for the mail carrier to stop by. Another Hosmer PC add, 1/1 style. Has three tips from the crown in the logo.

Thanks fellas. Was looking it over closely and the left patch piece is dirty/dingy, so apparently it was uses in some fashion, where dirt was located.
It's possibly my new, favorite card.

Bill James has to be pissed. He a big Biggio supporter. I thought Biggio would make it and no one else. Think it's a shame he didn't, but probably will in coming years.

Biggio and Piazza being elected on the first ballot would have places them on equal footing with Cal and other first ballot guys.........both are good players but neither is first ballot worthy.
Yes, I know that a player gets not better between first and second years.......it is just an arbitrary scale which says first ballot HOF guy is a bit better than second ballot guy.

Thanks guys. I am rethinking my collecting habits. Player collecting doesn't seem to be feasible for my budget, and trying to keep up. I have more fin picking up nasty patches, RC autos and other nice things.
