It is an American League ball that has bill dickey , heinie manush, Rick Ferrell and Tony lazerri and some other guy....

Love this ball. Wanted a Gehrig for so long but it is rare to see one that can be displayed as a single signed and Gehrig rarely signed on the sweet spot- reserving that spot for the babe and got used to it his whole career.

Thanks. Was considering going after that Ruth pants patch you won but was in the middle of this and decided I rather have a Gehrig autograph. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would own a Gehrig auto let alone on a baseball- on the sweet spot to boot. The autograph is pretty bold for it being almost 80 years old. I appreciate all the comments

I'd take something like that over a Patch card any day. I've found myself moving more in that direction recently and have considered moving some high end items more than once toward a non-card item. Still eyeing on now in fact and Gehrig is a prime component of that piece.
