Are these/recognized/catalogued as a parallel or just an error variation? Albeit super rare variation?

I don't think they are in say Becketts database but I don't really check things like that. Anyone know if they are in the SCD?

Unreleated of sorts but I was looking up some info on this and a few other parallels and its kind of amazing how people still rely on book pricing. I can't speak for all players but they have Bonds and McGwire worth more than Griffey in most instances. Then you have stuff like this...

LOL, I had someone offer me $90 on my 98 Griffey PM like a year ago and said that they were offering well over book value on it so please consider my offer ::facepalm:: Blows my mind. Book Value has become obsolete IMO. I remember when I was 10 and every month my brother and I would get our Beckett out (1986) and count the amount of money we had in cards. Figured we were set for life. HAHAHAHA

Kinda peicing 2 stories together I heard on these:
the football set APs used the rainbow foil and a few sheets of baseball APs had the same foil applied before they realized. Most think only high numbers are affected though I just found someone claiming to have the entire set so we shall see.

The guy selling these said he got them from a pack? Either this guy got lucky with a case or two or it went out the door in a lunch pail?

It's not inconceivable. He was a dealer so say he busted a few cases and happened to get the first group off the line then it's possible. Now that same guy said he found someone who aquired them from pinnacle when they went under. Unless someone who actually worked at Pinnacle knows what happened I doubt we will ever get concrete proof what's up with these. It's more than just a minor print error though, the foil is completely different.

Were all players available?

Many of you 90's collectors know that the 1999 Topps Gold Label Class 3 Red Label /25 cards had some wrong name errors. As shown in the scan below I own the 21/25 (O'neills uniform number) wrong name Rusty Greer. I also own a Bernie Williams wrong name Rondell White /25.

Pauly0001.jpg

I also owned another one of these 25 card runs. About 12 years ago I traded that card away to a fellow O'neill collector for a card I wouldn't have been able to add without including this card in the trade. It bothered me for years until this one came up for auction this week. 05/25 correct name:

If anyone has a correct name Bernie Williams /25 contact joey12508 and I'm second in line for one. Thanks, Kevin in CT.

I know some people in here where talking about PWCC always getting over top dollar for everything, though I forgot what thread. My main issue is the actual quality of the cards. Are these really gem mint? If someone could help with link, I'm on my phone
401082111588 (top right, back bottom left and upper right corner)
141919682731 (entire back bottom edge and back on the right)

is their within range of a PSA 10? I don't do a ton of grading but these just seem to have to many flaws for a gem grade. That's the reason I don't invest in graded cards! Is he strictly a consigner or buying large collections?

OKC, OK
wish I could add something to this thread, feels like it's been forever seen I've added a mid-to-high end 90s RJ card. They just aren't popping up.

Aftre a double whammy of food poisoning then mono I haven't been around the boards much the past couple of weeks. It's amazing how badly those things drain the human body. Anyway here's some of my Walker stuff ThunderFan25 :
