So I'm moving today and cleaning out my closet.

Here's my failures that I held on to.

That Vitters auto had a 2-3 week window that you could have made something, depending on when you bought it.

I have a small box of worthless failed prospects from when I speculated in 2003 and 2004 that I've kept within sight so I can remind myself not to prospect anymore.

Overall, I did well and made a profit, but thinking about all of the money I also wasted on guys like Thomas Diamond and Kevin Melillo makes me never want to prospect again.

Someone said by them only when they are really hot in the MLB,like Kris Bryant. Any thoughts on this theory? Look at Bryce Harper.

By doing that, your profit margin will be a lot smaller since the main spike has already happened. Granted, you will lessen your chance of losing since the price point of those guys is already established whereas most prospects fail rather than make it to mlb. Even guys like Trout, Harper, Kershaw are just one injury away from prices falling.

So,what if I bought all the 2016 Bowman Chrome autographed prospect cards that sell for $3 and less each/the lowest in demand and I hang on to them u til they go up to $6. Once a player hits $6,its sold. Then I might double my money....right.

I remember getting a bgs 10 Bowman Sterling Snider back from them at a National and starring at it in awe as I had lunch.
