As far as inserts go, these are two of my all-time favorites:

The power alley die cuts are, in my opinion, the epitome of the cool 90s inserts - colorful, shiny and die-cut.

When I started collecting Belle cards again last year, a raw copy of the best cuts atomic refractor was the very first card I picked up. I remember going to card shows after 97 bowmans best came out and seeing the atomic refractor versions of the rare cards (like Jose Cruz Jr....) in dealers cases in 1" thick lucite screwdowns and thinking they were the coolest cards ever. Almost 20 years later they are still one of my favorite designs.

While neither of these cards are rare, I was lucky enough to stumble onto the only PSA 10 copy of each one. Nothing amazing, I know, but I was happy to be able to pick up these copies of two of my favorites.

Isn't that the very same card that's currently listed on ebay for an insane price?

Anyways, I haven't seen everything, but my favorite is a toss up between the 1997 Fleer Diamond Tribute and the 1999 Ultra Diamond Producers insert sets. And reasonably affordable too compared to other one per case inserts.

The 95 Leaf Statistical Standouts were an eye catcher for me in a time when inserts were already going full on crazy. They went on to have another 2 year run of great looking designs as well. hnejcineek.jpgmovie_star_75-img429x600-1454642851jxdm5l5995.jpg1128d.jpgThere are a couple dozen or more really cool sets that warrant mention in a thread like this.
