First off, I think the cards look really nice. But the problem is that all of these wonderful 1980's "stars" who they chalk this product full of, do NOT sell. Strawberry, and Canseco, Dale Murphy, Allan Trammel, Steve Garvey, Joe Girardi, Carlton fisk, Gooden, etc etc etc just don't get it done in a $300+ per box product. Baseball is where my passion is, is where my collection lays, but I just don't see the player selection in a product like this ever ever every making the product a true winner.

I hear you. Gotta see a checklist. And a lot is riding on their reputation for unique memorabilia cards (as alluded to by Adam). Certainly enough here to get me excited

I hear you, and I hope it is AWESOME. But the only awesome Panini baseball product in years was NT, and that will be tough to ever match again.

I like the HOF line in this product. The cards look clean and are nicely done. Only critique is that I don't like how the say "Induction Class of" and then you have to look at the little circles to see the year. I wish they would have just completed the statement with the year of induction. I thought it was an error when I first looked at them, but it's easier to see on some of them, especially the red. I'm sure they look great in person.

Overall critiques are the same as everyone elses regarding the lack of logos, but that's been beat to death and maybe someday the stranglehold that Topps has will be lifted. Other critique is the player selection... there are two versions of Bert Blyleven shown. Really? There is that strong of a following for Bert Blyleven that we need two versions of his face on the same card? I think they should have just massed produced one version of him if they HAD to include him for production cost purposes, but two different version gives the guy more collectibility credit than is deserved in this product! In all honesty, I'd say this about any player - just make one version of the guy and produce it to however many copies you need to fill the product. Falsification of "production run" by putting out 10 facial variations and #'ing each to 20 versus one card #'d to 200 is just a terrible detriment to the hobby in my opinion.

I believe the HOF cards you're referencing are from a different product than Immaculate just FYI, there's 2 different ones shown. Those are from some HOF Anniversary set also coming

I agree, but now Blyleven player collectors will have to chase 10 different cards instead of just picking up 1 & calling it a day. It might help box/case breakers doing it that way.

(One of) My problem with this is that they are $350, with no chance at guys that Topps has in their stable. Back in the day a bigwig at a major manufacturer told me that licensing fees were a major expense %wise in producing cards. So why are all these unlicensed cards priced like licensed cards? Panini & BG must say to themselves, "Heck, these folks are used to paying big bucks for products - let's just parley the licensing costs we're saving into pure profit!"

These products are clearly inferior, why aren't they cheaper?
